Yesterday, I shared on Instagram that I had a health scare on Monday. I’m doing much better right now, but there are still a few tests that I have to do to find out what’s wrong. In an effort to take it easy this week, I’m postponing all blog posts until next week. You can still catch up on all my blog posts for the month. Also, my nonprofit is hosting a panel on Wednesday, October 7 at 6:30 EST. The panel, called Voting 101, will feature two organizations – Spread the Vote and the Center for Popular Democracy. The panel will cover all things voting, specifically talking about access, protection, and equity in the 2020 voting cycle. If you’re interested, register now!
Finally, if you watched the presidential debate last night and listened as Donald Drumpf said, “Proud Boys, stand back and stand by…” (Proud Boys being a white supremacist group and he still chooses not to denounce all forms of this type of hate) and you still choose to believe that this “man” isn’t racist, unfollow my blog and any other platform I have. You are clearly racist, and there is no room anywhere in my life for racists. Thank you and exit stage left.
