THE NECKSTACK THAT HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD
One thing about me, I’m always gonna find a way to wear a neckstack. Something about wearing all your necklaces at once does something for me. I’m loving right now this stack of three necklaces that I randomly put together one day. Honestly, every time I go somewhere, it’s what I’m reaching for because it’s so good.

GUILTY ABOUT A GUN
If I’m wrong, I don’t want to be right. I bought both Gucci Guilty and Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume as sample testers from Sephora a few months back. I loved them so much, I purchased the full size later because they are just that good. They are fantastic on their own. But together!? Whew. I’m a walking scent goddess. And you can’t tell me otherwise.

THE COMBO OF POWDER AND CONCEALER
Ever since I got back from the wedding, I haven’t been using my foundation much because I hate that it covers up most of the freckles on my face. Because I usually just want lighter coverage, I was looking for how to use my powder. I saw a couple of pins on Pinterest where folks were using concealer and powder for their makeup looks. This has been the best thing for me and I haven’t looked back since. The way my skin looks and how easy it is to apply have been the winning combo for me.

THE SUNNIES FROM ALDO
Did I need another pair of sunnies? Absolutely not. Did I buy a pair of orange cat-eye sunnies in Miami? You bet I did. I haven’t stopped wearing them since I got them in September. No matter where I am, the compliments fly. It also doesn’t hurt that it’s mirrored so I can block the haters and hide my facial expressions when I’m out in public. While it’s no longer on sale they are still available and under $20 for you.

MOUSSE FOR THE TWIST OUTS
I’m currently obsessed with flat twist outs. Something about the way they fall with the shape of my hair makes me feel like that girl. When it comes to my hair, I prefer the big hair, less defined curls look. But on some occasions, I like to give some definition. I have tried a lot of different types of foaming lotions but it left my hair not as defined as I’d like and flaky. What I realized was that I’d been using the wrong item – I was using forming lotion and what I should have been using is mousse. Y’all. It’s been a game-changer for me. I’ve been using this mousse whenever I want my flat twist outs to be extra defined because it provides a light hold with strong definition. And most importantly, no flakes! It makes sense that this works for me because I love the gel from the same brand.
