Whew, chiley! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted a natural hair post or tutorial. Today, that changes. This was a post that I wrote up and recorded the video for last year but my camera failed me (whomp whomp). So, I finally got the energy to re-record and edit the video. This is a quick and easy protective style tutorial that will protect your ends from as we transition from winter to spring. It’s also a super easy style too.

I’ve actually done this style before in 2017 and I loved how quick and easy it was so much that I decided to record it. I was definitely inspired to do it because I love a goddess braid but this incorporates both twists and braids. It’s also been the my go-to style when I want a quick and easy way to protect my ends.

PRODUCTS

You will only need a few products for this styling. The length of your hair will determine whether you need to add Marley Hair to your hair. I had leftover hair from a previous style so I don’t remember the name of the brand but I typically buy this brand. The rest of the products are listed below:

TUTORIAL

One thing to note, if you can’t cornrow, you can definitely flat-twist the area in the front. You could even add beads to the twists or braids that you have in the front. See below for the video tutorial for how I achieved this style.
