I’ve actually done this style before in 2017 and I loved how quick and easy it was so much that I decided to record it. I was definitely inspired to do it because I love a goddess braid but this incorporates both twists and braids. It’s also been the my go-to style when I want a quick and easy way to protect my ends.
PRODUCTS
You will only need a few products for this styling. The length of your hair will determine whether you need to add Marley Hair to your hair. I had leftover hair from a previous style so I don’t remember the name of the brand but I typically buy this brand. The rest of the products are listed below:
Rattail comb for parting- Wide-tooth comb for detangling
- Twisting product – I’m using SheaMoisture’s Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydrating Twist Defining Custard (what. a. name.)
- Bobby pins
- Water bottle (I’m using Segbeauty which is a game-changer!)
- Marley Hair (if your hair is long enough, no need to add extra hair)
- Gel (any kind but I prefer to use eco styler only when adding hair)
Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil- Hair clips
TUTORIAL
One thing to note, if you can’t cornrow, you can definitely flat-twist the area in the front. You could even add beads to the twists or braids that you have in the front. See below for the video tutorial for how I achieved this style.
