HOW TO: SPRING TWISTS

Passion twist. Spring twist. Kinky twists. I honestly don’t know the immediate difference between the three styles since they all use the same technique. However, the main difference is the type of hair you use that will determine which style it is. The packs of hair the I used said spring on it so I’m calling this twists spring twists.

TIPS

I started on stretched hair for this style just because it’s easier for me to do my hair. Honestly, when it comes to protective styles, I prefer to put braids on clean, stretched hair. After I put this in, I didn’t do anything with the ends which was a mistake because the hair started to unravel. The next day, I dipped a few strands in the back of my hair in hot water but didn’t care for how it looked because the hair became thin rather than keep its fullness you see in the photos. So, when I noticed the hair unraveling, I would retwist and add rubber bands at the end in order to keep the fullness of the hair.
