Happy Labor Day! I shared on my IG last week that I completely forgot that this weekend was Labor Day and I have nothing planned. Not a trip, not activities, nothing. Can’t say I hate it though. I cleaned my apartment and started my quest to watch the Marvel movies in timeline order. I’m clearly a Marvel fanatic. When I learned about the release of Disney+ and read that all the Marvel movies would be on there, I knew it would it was kick to accomplish this. I saw the trailer for the new Spiderman movies and decided that now is the time to start. Rewatching all of these movies just made my heart happy. After I complete this, I will start the Star Wars movies beacuse I’ve never seen them.

Okay, let’s talk about this look. But before we get into that, ignore the fact that I need to find a tailor to hem these pants. I have a love affair with Ofuure this year and I don’t want to quit. Just about all the African print that I’ve purchased this year has been all from them. I mean can you blame me?
I originally purchased these pants to wear for my department photos. We were doing a theme where everyone had to dress in the color assigned to them. Mine was green but was later switched to purple. Even though I didn’t get to wear these pants for that look, I’m glad I purchased them. I’m a sucker for anything high-waisted.
I’m also still very much into color blocking. With the blue in the pants, it felt right to do another blue and green combo because these colors look so good together. The next time I style these pants, I’ll do an expected color. I purchased this crop top combo separately years ago and haven’t actually worn this out in public before. I rediscovered it when I was cleaning out my closet.
I plan to spend the rest of the day, doing something to my hair, hoping to record some reels, and watching more marvel movies. Okay, I’ve rambled enough. What are your plans to spend Labor Day?
