ONE ITEM 3 WAYS – TRENCH DRESS PART II

Welcome back to look number two for one item 3 ways. This is where I pick one item to style in three different ways. For this series, I’m styling a trench dress. If you missed the first look, you can find it here. For part two, I decided to dress down the trench coat and wear it as an accent to the look.

Before we get into this look, I wanted to talk about this ridiculously, wonderful show that I just finished. I jumped on that free trial promotion that Paramount+ had at the close of March. Trying to get all the shows in before the free trial ends, I just finished binge-watching Why Women Kill this weekend (while managing to read a few chapters of the book that I started). Whew. That show had me on the edge of my seat all weekend. The way that it ended?! Wow.

If you haven’t heard or seen it, I highly encourage you to figure out how to watch it asap! It’s a show with 3 storylines, concurrently running, all spanning 3 decades. The setting takes place in the house all three women lived with their husbands in their respective decade – 60s, 70s, and 2019. The show follows the complicated lives of married women. It very drama filed but excellently done.

Anyways, back to the outfit, I shared in the previous post that while I love this coat, it’s a bit long when it’s worn open. Despite that, it’s the perfect addition to this more casual look. The versatility of this dress is endless. I hope you enjoyed this look. Come back next week for part III!
