AFRICAN OUTFIT: BALLON SLEEVES

I don’t know about y’all but I’m burned out. For the past year, living at work has caused me to work non-stop and I’m ready for a break. And by break, I mean laying on somebody’s beach and not think about anything but where I’m eating next. I was trying to hold out until July when I have my week off from work but I honestly don’t think I’m going to make it. I’ve been so unmotivated and uninspiried recently and I’m afriad if I don’t take a break soon, I’m just gonna run myself into the ground.

The stars of this shoot are the ballon sleeves on this dress and how shiny my legs are. Preparing for this shoot, I shaved my legs for the first time this year. Since the dress hits right above the knee, I decided to let my legs be the stars of the show by oiling them up really well. It was a good decision on my part because my legs look great in these photos.

Let’s talk about this dress. When I saw it on Ofuure‘s website, I just knew I had to have it. I was sold with the print and the color combination. When it comes to African print, I’m so picky about having unique prints and patterns. It’s also why I don’t just shop anywhere for African print. If you’re in the market for some African print clothing, I highly recommend Ofuure.

The balloon sleeves were the second selling point for me. It’s giving that 70s vibe and I just couldn’t pass it up. The bonus of this dress is it can be styled several ways since it is a button-up dress.
