I don’t usually post style posts on Wednesday but it felt necessary because I didn’t write this post out before I left for vacation and I for sure didn’t use my laptop the entire time I was in Puerto Rico. But I will say that I had a blast and will be sharing a recap of my trip to Puerto Rico soon.

Being back with daylight savings – Puerto Rico does not participate – I don’t think I was ready for the sun to set by 5:30p. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a tough transition to make in these last few days. Especially since it was sunny and in the 80s the entire time I was gone.
In other news – even though I have two pairs of these sunnies, I’m sad to report that the pair that I took to Puerto Rico went into the ocean while I was on the catamaran. But more on that in another post.
This dress was a random Amazon find when I was buying toilet paper. Why I was looking at dresses when looking for Charmin is beyond me at the moment, but I’m really glad I bought it. This was the perfect transition dress between summer and fall because it’s a linen dress to keep you cool on those really hot days but easy enough to add layers to for those cooler fall days.
When you think about leather jackets, I always advocate investing a little more. Even though this is a faux leather jacket, leather jackets are staples that can be worn all year round. I bought this jacket from Nordstrom Rack for a steal 4 years ago, and it’s still going strong. I still get a ton of compliments whenever I wear it. So, if you don’t own one that can take you further than 1.5 years, this is your nudge to do so.
Another great thing about investing in a leather jacket is you get more cost per wear. As I shared previously, I’m trying to live a more sustainable life. So anytime I can get more wear in all of my clothes, I’m always happy.
