When I pulled this look together, I didn’t realize how good it would look in the camera. So today we’re talking about the style and the outfit. Before the start of the year, I decided that I would be more intentional about creating more colorful looks. I absolutely love combining complementary colors and bold looks together. As I was looking through past outfit posts, I realized that I wasn’t being true to my style. So, be on the lookout for more monochromatic looks or bold color combinations.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors (the other two are pink and orange). So when I was pulling looks to prepare for this shoot, I just threw on the green coat, and it just worked. I honestly forgot how much I love yellow and green together. The combo brightens my day, especially for those dreary winter days. This look would make for a simple casual Friday if we weren’t working from home and your work dress code is casual, or even a cute brunch with friends look. I loved this combo so much that I’m looking for ways to do it again for spring and summer.
