RED SUIT

Hey, y’all! I am on a mission to get a suit in every color imaginable. First on the list is a red suit. I thought that it would be easy to find a red suit because colorful suits are having a moment right now. However, that was anything but the case. After weeks of searching, with no luck, I switched my search to find separates that I could put together as a suit.

To find this marvelous suit, I refined my search to find a red blazer that I loved and would be able to wear by itself as well as with red pants to make a suit. Through my search, the red blazer caught my eye because of the gold buttons at the wrists on the lapels.

After I got the blazer, my quest turned to finding pants that closely matched the color of the blazer and the look I was going for with this suit. I knew that I wanted cropped pants to wear with both tall and short heels. Finding red pants was so difficult! Again, I was shocked because the fashion trend is colorful suit separates. You can imagine my surprise when a lot of the stores that I was looking at didn’t have anything other than neutral colors.

Once I narrowed down the stores of pants that I liked, the next issue was matching the pants to the blazer. I don’t know if you can tell, but the blazer is slightly lighter than the pants. After a couple of days of looking, I honestly gave in to the fact that the colors wouldn’t match exactly as I would like. It isn’t a huge contrast so I’m just happy it all worked out.

My next venture is a yellow or orange suit. If anyone has any suggestions as to where I can even begin my search for an orange suit, please let me know!
