MUSTARD AND WHITE

Don’t you just love how these photos came out?! I discovered this spot on a walk around my neighborhood. It’s called 5 Points Alley and there’s 5 beautifully painted wall art on the 5 points of the alleyway. If you’re ever in East Walnut Hills on a nice day and want to take some cool photos, be sure to check out this alley. Also, Gomez is right around the corner so perfect place to grab food while you’re there and take in the scenary.

I’ve clearly been having a yellow moment. It feels like just about every look I debut on the blog has involved some shade of the color yellow. I really don’t mind it though, since yellow is one of my favorite colors. The reason I’ve been reaching for yellow so often is, it’s just such a cheery color. Also, I look great in yellow so why not play off my strengths?

Not only am I have a yellow moment but I’m also really loving color-blocked looks. I absolutely love the way that the white just pops with my mustard blazer. There’s something about wearing one or two colors that makes it seem like you got your life together. As I slowly begin to leave my house more, don’t be surprised to see me rockin color-blocked looks.

About this shoot: Don’t let the cool demeanor fool you. It was incredibly cold the morning we took these photos. It was in the low 40s and the wind didn’t help either. Despite the weather, I’m so happy with the way these photos came out. Dorese really knows how to make me look cooler than I actually am.
