CASUAL FRIDAY – A LOOK FOR THE TRANSITION BACK INTO THE OFFICE

While we aren’t there yet, we are slowly moving back into the office. I always knew this day would come. I had to move to Ohio because my job isn’t fully remote. While we will be part-time in the office, it is still a transition that I’m not quite ready for. Even though it’s not Friday, this post is dedicated to those who are already back in the office and for me to remember when I start back and I have no idea what to wear for a casual Friday.

YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH A GOOD BLAZER

I’ll let you in on a little secret, this blazer is from Walmart! Yes, you read that correctly. When I received this blazer and put it on, my mouth literally dropped. I was amazed, and tbh shocked, by the quality of the blazer. All I kept saying was – This is from Walmart?! I loved it so much, that I ordered the other one.

All that tangent was trying to get to is that a blazer is a perfect addition for a casual Friday. Blazers make you look put together even when you do feel like it.

JEANS

Jeans are a perfect signal that you’re trying to be casual at work. However, jeans may not be appropriate for your place of work. Since my place is more casual, this look would work for me. If your place of work does not do jeans, a dress, skirt, or even slack will look great with a blazer.
