Hey, y’all! Leopard print, among other prints, is the popular and staple print that you should incorporate all year. If you still haven’t tried this print, I’ve been a strong advocate of incorporating more leopard print in your life and will convince you to do so. Ask any of my friends. I’m sure they’re tired of hearing my speech! I’m here to lay out 3 reasons why you need a leopard print coat in your closet!

IT’S A NEUTRAL
Don’t let anyone tell you that leopard print isn’t a neutral color. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. No seriously. Like other neutrals, there isn’t a color that doesn’t go with leopard print. It’s because of the other neutrals (tan, brown, and black) that encompass the print confirms that it is a neutral pattern.
Essentially, it puts the focus on other colors or serves to tone down colors that might otherwise be overpowering on their own. In case you don’t believe it, look at the examples below. Also, I honestly haven’t seen anyone wear leopard and not look good it in! It’s a great way to look chic and like a million bucks.
IT’S PERFECT FOR PRINT MIXING
Because it’s a neutral, it’s the perfect print to add in for print mixing. Typically, when mixing prints, you find the dominant color in both prints to put them together. As you can see here, I used the black in both the coat and the stripes to pull the look together. I also added a pop of color to the mix to really stand out.
IT’S THE PERFECT ACCESSORY TO PUNCH UP AN OUTFIT
Finally, if you don’t want to wear it as a neutral or want to mix prints, leopard print makes for a great accessory. Whether as a purse, a coat, shoes, or belt, this print is the perfect way to add that extra pop you need for any outfit.
Whatever the case, leopard print is here to stay and I think that every person should have one in their closet. If not for anything else, it should be a fun way to spice up your wardrobe.
