MAROON AND LEOPARD

Hey, y’all! I don’t know about y’all but November has truly flown by. Last week, when I was thinking about Thanksgiving plans, I legit thought that I had another week. It literally took me by surprise when I discovered that it’s actually a couple of days away. So, I’ve been scrubbing and cleaning because my Mom (hi mom!) and brother will be in town for the week.

Let’s get into this look. I bought this maroon skirt from Old Navy a while ago because I loved the richness of the maroon color and suede anything just screams fall. I also love the color palette of the skirt and the jacket.

Aside from the color palette, I can already hear my mom commenting on the length of this skirt but that’s a topic for another day. 

My weekend was not as productive as I wanted it to be but I did have a wonderful weekend! I went to the University of Maryland’s football game on Saturday with the plans to watch them beat Ohio State (my disdain for that school runs deep). Unfortunately, that did not happen though it did make a great, competitive game.  Though the game didn’t go in my favor, I had a fun time! We had great seats and access to the field. 

After the game, my friend had a birthday celebration that evening at St. Yves. She is turning 30 on Wednesday and we celebrated at the club (a phrase I haven’t used in years), which was a great time! Lots of dancing and singing off-tune. 

I spent most of Sunday taking photos, napping, cleaning, washing my hair, and catching up on work for the week. I’m really excited to hang out with my family and eat lots of food this week.
