WE PICNIC

Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to with Cincy Cocoa Bloggers to picnic with We Picnic. First, Cincy Cocoa Bloggers is a group of bloggers, influencers, and entrepreneurs that are Black women who live in and are from the City of Cincinnati and neighboring cities who want to connect, partner together, and/or promote their brands as well as uplift the community. It was important for me when I moved back to Cincinnati to connect with like-minded women here that I would be able to hang out with outside of work.

We Picnic is a Black women owned business that provides popup picnic experiences around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Angela, the owner, created a great boho vibes set up. With beautiful decor, delicious snacks, and some bomb-ass lemonade. The picnic was set up in Ault Park, a beautiful and scenic place in Mt. Lookout. I’ve actually taken blog photos here before (here, here, here, and here) that still don’t do it justice.

While I expecting to be a cool fall day for this beautiful picnic, it’s was almost 80 degrees and the bees just couldn’t leave us alone. However, despite the natural elements, it was such a fun time to catch up with awesome ladies in a beautiful setup. I highly recommend We Picnic because Angela is great and when fall finally decides to cooperate, it would make a great date night or girls lunching.

You should also follow these women who are bloggers and influencers in their own lane (in order by the image below):

Janelle Lynnéa is a lifestyle blogger and a dynamic writer. Her focus is sharing her journey through life, love, fashion, and family. Janelle is also very funny and a great conversationalist. I always enjoy our conversations and connections whenever we talk. Follow Janelle on Instagram.

Rebecca Armstrong is a creative, artist, entrepreneur, lifestyle blogger, and creator of Cincy Cocoa Bloggers. Rebecca is also a lover of color and we always bond about what we’re taking out of each other closets. Follow Rebecca on Instagram.

Kait is a food blogger that takes the most perfect photos of the foods she makes or eats at the various restaurants around the tristate area. Admittedly, for any new restaurant I try, I always check her Instagram page to see if she’s been there and see how scrumptious the food looks.

Bri is a sustainably minded, beauty & lifestyle blogger that is literally a walking encyclopedia. Every time I speak to her or see her on Instagram, I learn something new. I learned about her vaseline tip on Sunday. Follow Bri on Instagram.

OUTFIT DETAILS

I bought this jumpsuit from Amazon a while ago with the intention to wear it this summer. But since I really didn’t go many places this summer, it’s been hanging in my closet. Knowing that green is the color of the season, the high temps, and that we’d be sitting on the ground, I figured it was time to bust it out. Don’t be surprised when you see me restyle it for cooler temps. I’m seeing a turtleneck and snake print boots in the future with this item.
