When I say don’t sleep on JCPenny, I mean it. This faux leather midi skirt is clearly a win for my closet. To be honest, I hadn’t shopped at JCPenny in a minute and was reminded by Funmi Ford about how great that store is. Even though I am still on the path of not buying a lot of clothes this year, this skirt did not hurt the bank, and it was the perfect addition to my fall closet. I added snake print sandals to tie the look together.
These photos were taken in late September when the weather was still summer, and the sun setting was still relatively late. It reminded me how much I enjoy a golden hour at sunset. Even though the sun was still setting at around 7p, we were literally chasing the sun because the sun kept moving so quickly.
I spent the bulk of the weekend out of the house. What they say is right – be careful what you wish for. I had been complaining for a while that I never go anywhere, and here I am, outside and going places a little too much. Most of my Saturday was so scheduled that it made my brain hurt. Of course, I watched the GA v Florida and the epicness that occurred in the last 2:35 minutes in the 2nd quarter. I know I say this every year, but this is truly our year, and you may see me at the national championship game.
