Hey, y’all! I have been trying to wear this hat forever but the way my hair is set up, it’s a bit difficult to wear hats. Since going with these faux goddess locs, I have been wearing hats all of the time. Also, having this protective style makes the mornings run a bit smoother. I bought this turquoise dress last year and have gotten many compliments on them.
I love the boho vibes that the turquoise dress and hat are giving me. Honestly, this is the closest I’m going to get to a “fest look” for me. This is because I just don’t do big crowds and I don’t really care for the boho look on me.
As you can see, it makes me look even younger than I already do (not that I’m complaining because I know I’ll be grateful when I’m older). It’s Forever 21! I try not to shop at that store as much as I am no longer 21 and sometimes the quality of the material isn’t always worth the price. I would like to get more than one wear out of my clothes.
This week, I was out of town for work and forgot how exhausting it can be! Trying to balance everything can be a bit tricky, especially with everything I’ve been trying to manage in my personal life. But at the end of the day, I have to keep reminding myself that everyone else is busy too and also have a lot going on so I need to quit complaining. As a final note, I am glad to be home this weekend to celebrate Mother’s Day.
