THE FITNESS APP THAT I LOVE

I took a little over a month off from working out, mostly due to burnout and injuries. But now I’m back, rested and healed, on the fitness track, and wanted to share the app that I always reach for when I return to my workout schedule. The Nike Training App has been my favorite app to find all kinds of workouts that help you meet your fitness goals. You can choose from a trainer lead class or decide to do the whiteboard workouts – where you do the workouts on your own. They also have programs where you can focus 4-6 weeks on increasing your skillset and provide healthy eats tips in the program. Finally, you can search by muscle group or workout length. The app also has an athlete collection where you can “train like” insert your favorite athlete.

Prior to the start of the pandemic, you had to pay for some of the premium perks – i.e., trainer-led workouts, the 4-6 weeks programs, and other special workouts. But once the pandemic started, they made everything free. During the quarantine months, Nike made it free to everyone. I’m happy they did that because I was determined not to pay for the extras on that app. ?

The reason I love the Nike Training App so much is that they make it so easy to just start working out. This fitness app has a special place in my heart because it helped me lose all the weight that I gained in graduate school. Something that I never that I could do by myself. During this past month off, I’ve noticed that my clothes are fitting a little snugger than they used to. I knew that once I started running again, I would also start on the app in order to tone up.

DO YOU USE A FITNESS APP? IF SO, WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE?
