STRIPED OFF THE SHOULDER DRESS

Hey, y’all! I’m happy to report that my fruit clutches are back and ready to see the world! The watermelon clutch was my first fruit clutch last year that has started an obsession. I have added a few more fruit to my basket (see what I did there! LOL) that will make their debut on the blog this summer.

Adding another off-the-shoulder dress to my closet was a no-brainer since I have been obsessed with off-the-shoulder tops and dresses for most of my life. This purchase was my late summer purchase last year in hopes that it would still be warm enough to wear. That was not the case, but I’m glad I bought it because I really loved the combination of colors and the stripes.

My color of the season (really, every time it warms up; it’s my color) is red-orange. I think it looks great on me, especially in the summer when my skin tone gets darker. There is a range in the red-orange spectrum and I love them all. This is why you can find that color on my lips and nails.

I’ve since washed my hair and boy am I glad to have my kinks back! The one thing that I realize I don’t care about straight hair is that it’s so flat. I get automatic volume when my hair is in its natural state. When it was straight, I incorporated lots of curly styles to give it more umph. Sometimes it was a success, other times it was just frizzy.

I will say going to get my hair professionally trimmed and straightened gave my hair the change it needed. There will be more changes coming soon…you’ll know when you see it!
