Hey, y’all! So I know it’s been a minute since I posted an outfit post, but it’s been a busy time since school started. I will make more of an effort to do my posts in advance.
PHOTOS BY 10TH LETTER VISUALS
If you can’t tell by the sweat glistening on my forehead, it’s still summer here! This particular day that we shot, it was so H O T. By the time we were done, all of my clothes were soaking wet. I am definitely over this late summer weather and ready for fall.
The thing about fall, though, is that it takes forever to get here but then makes a quick exit for winter. By the time you really get settled into fall, winter is here. Winter is my least favorite time of the year because I hate being cold. The only great thing about winter approaching is my birthday.
We took pictures at the National Cathedral and my gosh is it beautiful! I can’t believe the vision, patience, and skill that the architects had to build such a beautiful church. The building also doesn’t make too bad of a backdrop for my pictures.
Onto the look. I’ve actually had this dress for over a year. I bought it at Loft before I moved to DC and hadn’t worn it. It was a great addition for such a hot day and I love that it’s airy enough for those really hot days. It also doesn’t hurt that it has pockets (who doesn’t love pockets on a dress?!)!
