PLEATED MIDI SKIRTS

Hey, y’all! What. A. Week. Glad that it’s finally over. Also, can you believe that it’s June already?! I have no idea where this year has gone. But I guess what they say is true, “Time flies when you’re having fun!” I don’t know if you classify what I’ve been doing as fun, but time is moving very quickly.

As you know, I clearly have an obsession with midi skirts. But pleated midi skirts?! I would have to say that pleated midi skirts are my weakness! Why? Because I live for the movement that occurs in the skirt whenever you’re walking or if the wind blows a certain way. Pleated skirts, in general, always make me feel like I’m Beyonce. Because it always feels like I have a wind machine following me around! And who doesn’t want to feel like Beyonce?!

I’m gearing up for another travel week for work and then I’ll have some time at home to catch up on everything that I’ve been behind on. Like, all of the shows that are currently sitting in my DVR taking up space. One big thing that I am looking forward to at the end of this month is Essence Fest! A couple of girlfriends and I will be heading down to New Orleans to check out the festival. I’m really excited because I’ve never been to this festival. I’m also really excited about all the yummy food! Every time I’ve gone to New Orleans, the food always seems to get better!
