PURPLE AFRICAN PRINT PANTS

Do you ever feel like you’re in a rut? Because I think I’m in a rut. I find myself getting bored of my routine. I think it’s just that time of year where I realize that the end of the year is quickly approaching and I feel like I haven’t done anything that I said I would do this year. I think it’s time to review some of my goals to remind myself that I have done/accomplished so many things. Also, whenever I get bored with my routine, I start to make reckless decisions because I just want to get out of the rut. I’m hoping it’s the former but we’ll see how I feel after I review my goals.

These pants are actually part of a set that I have recently worn here. I decided to break it down and wear it with a cardigan sweater styled as a crop top. While I don’t normally gravitate to put yellow and purple together (LSU colors anyone?) but I’m loving these two colors together for fall!

I know it gets really cold here in the winter, but I’m hoping to prolong wearing crop tops, or my version of crop tops, for as long as possible. This summer, I fell in love again with crop tops, and I really can’t explain why. Maybe it was just so hot this summer, and I needed to let my stomach and lower back breathe. Whatever the reason, I’m happy that crop tops have become a staple in my wardrobe.
