Hey, y’all! What. A. Week. New Orleans was phenomenal! It was a great time hanging out with friends but also being in a place with beautiful black people, enjoying the time. Can’t wait to go again!
Some of my favorite things about New Orleans is the amazing food and beautiful architecture. During many of our walks, there were so many beautiful colors and architecture that were so mesmerizing. I was loving the vibe of this wall with my navy dress. The many colorful walls offered a wide array of pictures that I plan to print and hang in my new place (when I figure out where that is).
This outfit, the navy dress with sneakers, was the typical outfit I wore during the day. It was easy and comfortable with all the walking that we did and the heat we endured. The headwrap was the perfect accessory during the day because it preserved my curls from the humidity and had great bantu knot outs for the evening.
I finally feel like I’ve caught up on all the sleep that I didn’t get over this past week. I am looking forward to getting back into somewhat of a routine. I am trying to start packing, for real this time, this weekend and definitely washing my hair.
