I have been trying to replicate this braid out for the last 3 months and nothing has come close!

The definition.
The shape.
The je ne sais quoi of it all.

I can’t for the life of me figure out what I did to replicate this look!! 😩

But I guess that’s the thing about natural hair, it never looks the same way twice.🥴

At least this beautiful braid out was captured on camera.🥹

I will share this look with my grandnieces and nephews one day and tell stories about this braid out.

Until then, enjoy this view because it likely won’t happen again. 😩

While I love dainty jewelry, there’s something about a neck stack of that just do it for me.

And it’s always the more the merrier. 😆😆

While gold is what l typically reach for, there are some silver necklaces that do the job.

The thing the comes to mind about these photos is “what a difference a year can make!”

A year of growth, unwanted turns, unexpected highs, and days of trying to find the will to tackle whatever comes next.

I was feeling discouraged about my progress in my wellness journey around this time last year. But today, I am pleasantly surprised at how far I’ve come.

But one thing that I can say was worth the year of a roller coaster ride is the beautiful transformation (internal and external) that it brought me.

So here to another year of looking fabulous while working towards progress. #progressoverperfection
