Hey, y’all! How great is this watermelon clutch?! It’s a recent find from TJ Maxx. Want to know a secret? It’s not really a clutch! It’s actually a cosmetics case but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to carry it as a clutch!

I have always been an avid reader but lately, it’s been hard getting back into reading. In the spirit to get back on the horse, I picked up my first book in months and started reading. The book that I just finished is called Adnan’s Story: The Search for Truth and Justice and Justice After Serial. If you didn’t know, this book started as a podcast on Serial where host and narrator Sarah Koenig walks you through the case of Adnan Syed. I won’t give any spoilers because I want you to get hooked on this story like I am.

Anyway, Serial was how I was introduced to Adnan. I was not happy with the way Serial ended and wanted more information. Soon after, I found out about Undisclosed. It’s a podcast that walks you through the legal side of the case and provides you with more information that Serial did not. Rabia Chaudry, who has been the driving force of getting Adnan’s case back into the limelight, is the host of Undisclosed. She really does a great job, along with her co-hosts, of breaking down all of the legal issues and other complicated matters into simple to understand terms.

Back to the book. As if you thought you had all the information you needed, the book reveals more information that wasn’t included in Serial or Undisclosed. After all of the information that I’ve digested, I think I can confidently say something ain’t clean in the milk! Lol

In case you skipped to the bottom: If you would like to jump on the Adnan story, I recommend you listen to Serial first, then Undisclosed, and then finally read the book (in that order). I think the book ties everything together so don’t read it before listening to either podcast.

What books are you reading right now?

As always, thanks for stopping by!
