#CURRENTLYCANCAN VOL 30

I’m literally crawling to the end of April. This month has been a lot, specifically at work, and I have no idea when it will ever slow down. That’s a stressful conversation for another time. 🥴 Because of a month of mostly all work and little play, April feels like it’s creeping by. Every time I looked up, we still had much of April left to live. Also, this up and down rollercoaster ride from spring to winter to summer to winter is for the birds.

01. TRIUMPHANT RETURN?

After almost a year, I have returned to my Instagram account. I’ve often shared my love/hate relationship with that app. But it was so great to see some of my IG connections thriving, growing families, and building businesses. I have decided to focus only on the community that has literally always been there when I need them so I don’t delete my app. I will say that because I’m not used to being on IG daily, I often forget to post or even get on there. 😅 It’s a good adjustment to figure out because that’s the one thing I wanted to combat in this hiatus, my addiction to that app.

02. IT’S COACH HUNNY

This month, the Cocoa Cincy Bloggers got invited to Coash for an Influencer event. It was my first one in a while and I forgot how much I enjoy them. It’s always so good to catch up with other bloggers/influencers that you haven’t seen in a while and meet new faces to follow. What I was truly impressed with was Coach. I know that Coach has been having a moment but I was not really checking for them and now I feel like I’ve been missing out. Can’t wait to grab a few items that I was mentally making a checklist of at the event.

03. CHICAGO WORK TRIP

I had another quick work trip this month that was so invigorating. We’re working on starting a pilot program in Cincinnati – I won’t get into too many details since we’re still working out the logistics – and went to Chicago to get more insight about the pilots they are running. I’m really excited to participate in a pilot of this nature and be inspired by the work we saw in Chicago. Another thing I learned? Chicago is too cold for me. Imagine leaving 60 degree weather and a few hours later it’s 20 degrees colder. And it only got colder as the weekend progressed. We even saw snow flurries when we were leaving. Chicago was always a city I said I would move to in a heartbeat to get away from Cincinnati. Now, iono bout alladat.

04. APRIL FAVORITE

I didn’t do a lot of shopping this month because I honestly couldn’t tell up from down. However, this pen has been a great placeholder until my Apple pen arrives for my work iPad. I did a fun reel on it.
