TRANSITION TO FALL WITH BLUSH

Hey, y’all! As the temps start to cool up here and Fall is quickly approaching, I want to talk about how to transition to fall with blush. The great thing I love about Fall is the fact that you can still wear some of your Summer pieces, but you get to add lovely sweaters and boots and match them with the richer colors of Fall. If you didn’t know, incorporating blush in all seasons is my favorite thing to do especially as a transition color from winter to spring as well as summer to fall (seen here, here, and here). Even though we’re noting going out as much because of the pandemic, doesn’t mean you can’t use these valuable tips. Because I can’t get enough of this color, it makes perfect sense to transition to Fall with blush!

RICH COLORS

If you don’t know, blush is a neutral color and this fact makes it easy to pair it with a variety of colors. An ideal way to transition to Fall with blush is to pair it with richer tones. One of my favorite blush combos is with maroon/burgundy.  Also, pairing it with mustard yellow, navy blue, or emerald green are colorful, useful ways to utilize the versatility it offers.

OUTERWEAR

Blush outerwear has been the move for a couple of seasons now. You can find blush peacoats, blush trench coats, and blush leather jackets. The great thing about adding blush-colored outerwear is that it’s a neutral! It’s another easy way to transition with blush. Adding a blush-colored trench or leather jacket with any of your Fall or Summer pieces is an effective way to make this transition.

NEUTRALS

If all else fails, it can’t hurt to wear neutrals with neutrals. Neutrals are amazing because they literally go with everything. Therefore, there is no such thing as having too many neutrals. This is precisely why it makes a great transition to Fall with blush! Honestly, it doesn’t matter which neutral you go with- black, navy, leopard- it will all look good with blush.
