It’s that annoying time of year that every single blogger/influencer pulls out all the stops to promote the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. While I’m a big fan of shopping on a budget, over the last few years the promotion for the Nordstrom sale has become…a bit much. Now, I’m not knocking anyone’s hustle cause the gworls make bank promoting this sale! The commission you receive is pretty great. And if your entire livelihood depends on making money from purchases your followers make, I completely understand the need to promote the hell outta this sale. But sometimes I wonder if the items that bloggers/influencers promote are just another way to rope their followers into buying things just to buy or are they truly recommending these items because they really like them (it’s part of the reason I didn’t promote Prime Day).

While this post is, in a way, promoting the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, I’m only promoting items that I actually purchased. Like it or not, the Nordstrom sale is overhyped and in your face. Not wanting anyone to spend money they don’t have or buy things they don’t need, here is the only thing I purchased, and loved, from the sale.
PAULA’S CHOICE JUMBO BHA LIQUID EXFOLIANT
For some reason, Paula’s Choice only sells the 8 fl oz of their BHA exfoliant during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale – I’ve raved all about this product here. The frequency in which I use this product makes the jumbo size worth it (Sale Price $46 | $75 Value). This year, it’s a set with the travel size which again is a win for me because I’ll be traveling a lot this Fall/Winter.
If you’re not using a liquid exfoliant, here is your reminder that you should be. Liquid exfoliants are better for your skin than scrubs because can be too abrasive for your skin. The website shares that the BHA Liquid Exfoliant is able to penetrate skin’s oil to exfoliate the pore lining. This product is great for all skin types.
The sale is going on now through July 31 so if you want to try out the Paula’s Choice BHA, go ahead and get it. My skin looks even better since I’ve started using it.
