STRIPED ROMPER

Hey, y’all! Last week was a bit hectic, which is why I didn’t get a chance to post anything. Well, I’ve gotten my stuff together and ready to tackle this week!

The Loft is one of my favorite stores to shop because I love the fit of everything! I have been looking for a romper that doesn’t look too juvenile and doesn’t cut the circulation off of my thunder thighs. I stumbled upon this gem in the clearance section (the only place I direct my attention whenever I go shopping!). The perfect thing about this romper is the stripes and of course, it doesn’t hurt that it’s in one of my favorite colors, orange!

You’ve probably noticed that I have a new hairstyle and I hate to burst your bubble, but it’s a wig! It’s been a long time coming but I finally bought a wig. I’m still adjusting to it but from first impressions, I love how it completely changes my normal look. I plan to do a review of this wig soon so be on the lookout for that.

Two weekends ago, I went to Philadelphia to see my cousin put on an exhibition from her Master’s program. It was such a great show! In her program, she learned how to create and print on all types of materials (i.e., wallpaper, plastic, fabric). So, the exhibit showcased her work as well as her classmates’ work on what they created in their program.  I know that her talents and hard work will take her far and I can’t wait to buy some of her items as soon as she starts!

Philadelphia is always a great place to visit. Because I was only there for 24 hours, I didn’t get to visit some of my favorite spots. Since I only live about 2.5 hours away,  I can’t wait to go back! But that quick trip was definitely a needed break from my usual routine. 

This weekend shall be a busy weekend for me, but I’m hoping for a chance to get some relaxation/time to myself before the next week starts. Have a fantastic weekend!
