SHORT SKIRT AND OVER-THE-KNEE BOOTS

Hey, y’all! I took a quick hiatus from the blog and social media mostly because I just needed a break so I wouldn’t quit blogging completely. What I realized I needed was just some time to reorganize my life and make some decisions. It also afforded me the opportunity for me to reduce my screen time. Something that I’ve been working on for the last month.

In my brief time away from the blog, I was able to reexamine priorities in life. I’ve changed some things (more to come in the next post) to make sure that I am practicing self-care and not running myself ragged. Also, school got crazy with midterms so adding another thing to my plate was just too much to handle. I’m human and sometimes I can juggle my life beautifully. Most times though, I’m juggling too many items and I’m watching them all fall down in slow motion.

So, for now, my schedule is a bit more manageable and I’m planning to crank out the last couple of weeks of the year to prepare the world for my domination of 2019.

Let’s get to the real reason you’re here; this look! This blazer is my favorite that I’ve had for more than 3 years. I found it on Target‘s clearance rack for $10. Best money I’ve spent. In addition to durability, the color is fabulous. I love the color palette of the blazer and this printed skirt that I got from Loft (another clearance rack find) for $15.

I finished the look with these over-the-knee boots that I bought from TJ Maxx. I’ve worn these boots a couple of times on this blog and they look great with everything.
