Hey, y’all! The pictures do not do this skirt justice! It’s a sweet orange skirt that I stumbled across in TJ Maxx last summer. It’s such a great color that it was so hard not to buy it. Because the skirt is such a bold color, I decided to make it the statement piece and make everything else neutral.
I haven’t switched my closet from Winter to Spring/Summer yet; the reason is, it’s going to take a while because I have too many clothes. Anyways, that’s probably going to be my plan for this weekend (in addition to everything else I got going on) so I can stop pulling everything out every day before I go to work and stop having to put everything back before I go to bed.
Can we take a moment and talk about my hair? Why? Because my mom keeps making comments on my hair every time she visits my blog (hey mom). I know I keep talking about it but I’m so over my hair. This is why it’s either been in a puff or some variation of a twist out or bantu knot out. I need to do a protective style. The issue for me is I’m very tender-headed.
It’s hard for me to find someone to do my hair and not have pain for 2 weeks. I want braids but I don’t want the pain that comes with braids: A Memoir. Until I can find this balance, you will continue to hear me complain about my hair (though, I will try to keep it to a minimum).
