Hey, y’all! Culottes, a trend that I wasn’t particularly excited about, has finally stolen my heart. These culottes, in particular, are high waist (love it!). It hides the belly and is great for adding a crop top if you choose. I also love the color. Navy, another neutral, is definitely a color that I need to be added to more items in my closet.
I was in Ross and stumbled upon this top, which makes for the perfect navy and gold combination. Because who doesn’t love navy and gold? Of course, to complete this mostly neutral look, I threw in a pop of color with my green clutch! I was browsing through TJ Maxx before class one day and this beautiful green clutch was hiding in the beauty section. It was on clearance for only $12 so you know I had to scoop it up!
Looking back at these pictures, I reckon it’s time for me to get a cut/trim so that there is some semblance of a shape to my hair. It has grown a lot but I would like it to look a little more even when I wear it out like this.
Though I did not go anywhere for Spring break, it was nice to have a break from school to relax before the end of the semester. I was hoping for warm weather but of course, it was cold most of the week. Either way, it made for early nights in with lots of wine drinking. This weekend, I’ll be buckling down to complete work that I probably should’ve done this week.
