Hey,
THE GOOD
I have never worn a wig before and I had no idea what I was doing when I purchased it. Luckily, I have great friends that don’t mind me asking all kinds of questions (thanks Cherise and Jasmine!!).
The good thing about this wig is how easy it was to figure out how
Another great thing about this hair is it doesn’t look too shiny. That was my biggest fear about buying a wig. I didn’t want to be that person that was oblivious to how shiny and fake her wig looks. I was very relieved that it looks great in pictures! I even fooled a couple of people into thinking that it was my real hair.
The cost of this unit is relatively cheap. I only paid $25 for it (including shipping). Considering all of the other units that I was looking at, it was an excellent price for someone that has no idea what she’s doing.
Finally, the wig is heat friendly. Meaning, it can
THE BAD
The hair sheds a bit. I don’t know if this a normal thing that happens with wigs (novice here), but I just wasn’t expecting it. Maybe I have a lower quality wig that the shedding occurs with it? It also tangles really easily! I tried to put a wide-tooth comb through it but then the shedding increased significantly after that.
The “bad” is not necessarily the fault of the unit but based on my preference. Because it’s a straight wig, it requires the braids under your wig cap to be small. I don’t mind doing the small cornrows because I am being lazy.
FINAL VERDICT
I like the unit a lot! It’s great for me to put on when I need a break from my hair. It’s a cheap wig that doesn’t take too much effort and it’s good enough for what I need right now.
The company makes a lot of different styles and I hope to get my hands on more so that I can hopefully try a curly wig.
I hope my review was
As always, thanks for stopping by!
The wig looks good on you.
Thanks, Mom!
