I learned two things this month: 1. 🗣 KEEP JADA’S NAME OUTCHA MOUTH and 2. Be careful how you be talking about people cause you never know who got them hands. 😬 But in all seriousness, they were both wrong. Black women are tired of being the butt of everyone’s joke. And violence is not okay. There’s a more nuanced conversation that needs to be had about all of this. Something that has been talked to death. So, let’s talk about other things that I had seent this month.

01. I’M A LAZY NATURAL
I got my hair straightened at the end of March and I didn’t realize how lazy I am when comes to my hair. Whew. The sheer fact that I had to wrap my hair every night or think about what I’m doing with my hair when it was straight was tew much. I was reminded why I rarely straighten my hair because it takes so much work. When my hair is in its natural state, I keep it in protective styles so I never really have to think about it until I have to wash it. So, save all the cute pictures I took while my hair was straight because it might be a while – unless I get my hands on a straight wig – y’all will see this hair straight again.
02. TRUTH IS I’M TIRED
Covid. Mask mandates. Folks not washing their legs. I’m tired. I’ve said before and will say again – y’all nasty! As I get older and learn, unprovoked, that folks just love to share all the nasty things they do or how unclean they are, the more I’m in desperate need to find and purchase my own island. The thing that truly baffles me is the need to constantly share on the internet how gross y’all are. ARE Y’ALL OKAY?! We did not need to know that you don’t bathe every day, don’t wash your legs, or let your pet lick all your utensils then continue cooking with it. >shudders< LEAVE. US. ALONE. Until then, I will not be eating from any of y’alls house unless I’ve seen, with my own eyes, how you prepare your food.
03. THE INTERNET IS STILL UNDEFEATED
It never ceases to amaze me how delightful the internet can be. It’s really free y’all. Here are a few things that made me cackle this month.

- Tiktok is truly a gift
- It’s that time of year again! 🤣🤣🤣
