COLLARED COLD SHOULDER TOP

Hey, y’all! I love this skirt so much! It may look familiar because I’ve worn it on the blog before but it was a more casual look. As you already know, I love anything off the shoulder but I’m also loving the cold shoulder trend. All of the cold shoulder items that I own have a ruffle and I love it. When the wind catches at the right moment, the ruffles have great movement, which looks great in pictures.

I had forgotten how much I like to shoot in this location. It dawned on me that in less than a month, I will be leaving and will no longer be able to shoot here. Needless to say, I was feeling a little nostalgic when I was taking these photos. Also, while taking these photos, I had a bit of an audience. This is cool but also distracting when I take all my own pictures. They were a group of kids that had lots of questions but I found myself being short with them because I had a couple more outfits to shoot in different locations. All while trying to get everything done before the sun sets. It was a reminder to me that I need a little patience with people.

This weekend, I have a wedding so I’m starting to pack for my move (which I hate). I’m sure I’ll distract myself with packing for Essence Fest, which is next weekend (can you believe it’s so close). I’m trying not to overpack but also make sure that I have enough clothes for all of the fun we’re going to get into.
