Hey, y’all! I could hear my mother say “why are you outside in the cold with your chest all exposed? That’s how you’re gonna get sick!” As I get older, I can hear my mother’s words come out of my mouth when I talk sometimes. I don’t mind it because it reminds me of my childhood. Also, my mom’s pretty funny so I don’t mind sounding like her…at times.
I completely forgot that I had this skirt. It was something I bought on the whim and wore it once before. I love the flounce of the skirt as well as the color. I was sold on the color because I love this particular hue of blue! I clearly learned my lesson from the previous two posts and put tights on and kept my jacket on.
I swear the entire time I was taking these pictures, I was thinking, “you can only blame yourself when you’re sick!” This was my inner self fully embracing my mother’s words from above. Lesson learned: check out the weather before going out to take pictures! Let’s hope the groundhog doesn’t see his shadow so we have an early Spring (one can only hope)!
