OTHER COLORS TO WEAR FOR VALENTINE’S DAY

Valentine’s Day is Wednesday, which means lots of outfits involving the colors red and pink. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good red and pink any day, but it starts to become a little boring and predictable. So, if you want to switch it up this Valentine’s day, there are other colors that you can wear to help you stand out.

YELLOW

We all already know how much I love the color yellow, it’s in my top three favorite colors. Yellow is such a striking color that you would definitely stand out in the sea of reds and pinks. To make yellow work for your date night, wear the color that goes best with your complexion and make it formfitting.

BLACK

There’s nothing as chic and timeless as black. Styling an all black outfit brings a bit of drama and sophistication to the occasion. Whether you’ll be out at a fancy restroom or staying in for your meal, black is always another great color to stand out in the sea of reds and pinks.

PASTELS

Pastels are another great color palette if you want other colors for Valentine’s Day. Softer hues – like lilac, light blue, or mint – remind me of spring, which I always look for in February. For Valentine’s Day, pastels can evoke a romantic and playful mood. Also, if you want to stay in the pink or red family, pastels of those colors will be less common than the bolder pinks and reds.

While all these colors are great options, the best color to wear for Valentine’s Day is whatever makes you feel comfortable and matches your style.
