Hey, y’all! It’s been an interesting last couple of weeks. In the spirit of being more transparent, today’s post is going to be a life update. As you know, I’m moving to DC to start graduate school. Great news: I have found a place to stay! Bad news: I have to pack and a million other things to do to get ready for this move in three weeks. I have been racking my brain on how I am going to get everything that I need to get done before I move and the list is getting longer by the minute.
I’ve been struggling with what I’m going to do and I have finally made a decision. I am going to go on a hiatus from the blog for the next couple of weeks to regroup and get my personal life in order. I was planning to figure it out and push through but I feel like the quality of my work and what I’ve been putting out on the blog has been affected by this. I know that I have not been putting out quality work the last couple of weeks because I’ve been trying to find a balance, but never actually seem to find that balance.
I know that sometimes we can’t do it all and I don’t want to burn out on something that has really been a great outlet for me. So, I’ll be back in August with fresh new content and hopefully a new photographer in DC. In the meantime, check out some bloopers, below, from my last couple of photo sessions.
