Hey, y’all! Welcome back to another edition of CanCan Restyled. CanCan Restyled is where I pick an item from an older post and restyle it. For this look, I’m restyling this faux fur stole look. Unlike some of the previous posts, I actually liked the way that I styled this look. I just wanted to restyle it because, I hate to say it, I haven’t picked up my faux fur stole again. Actually, I had planned to give it away but decided that I wanted to restyle it one more time before I did.

One thing that I actually want to do differently is to belt the stole. Every time I had the stole on me, it would constantly fall off. I didn’t think about adding a belt until after the photos were done. As you can see, I added flare to a cooler Fall day with my favorite trench, which I’ve since given away. This time, I wanted to try a look that was a little more sophisticated and matched where I am style-wise.

The difference in the styling and how much more natural I look in front of the camera is so stark. I also look taller and I haven’t grown a single inch since middle school! And I just look much more sophisticated with this belted faux fur stole look. It’s screaming you cannot talk to me anyhow! Can you tell I prefer this updated styling?!
OUTFIT DETAILS
The belt with the stole is perfect! It just elevates the overall look. Also, I wasn’t fidgeting with it the entire shoot like I was the last time because it was belted. What. A. Concept. I loved the color scheme from the previous look, so I stayed in the same color palette but added high waist pants to bring it present to the style times. With this refreshed look, I’m contemplating whether I should actually give my faux fur stole away.
