Hey, y’all! I’m in Alabama for work this week and I’m fairly close to the Gulf. Aside from constantly feeling like I’m walking in a sweatbox, it’s really beautiful here. Kind of wondering why it’s taken me so long to get here?! The beaches remind me of Siesta Keys where the sand is white and the ocean is blue. It was definitely nice to be in a state that is close to a beach.
Another day, another African print off the shoulder. I just can’t stop with this combination and it will continue to be a staple in my wardrobe. I took these pictures when I was in Atlanta this past weekend. Specifically, we took them in downtown Decatur, which I love. My brother and I stumbled across this wall while wandering around the landscape. The only thing that I miss about this city is having access to wall art.
I was feeling very ambitious when I got my clumsy self on that ledge. What had happened was…while we were shooting, a couple came up and asked us to take a picture of them. I saw them get up on the ledge and got excited about that. Well, I am very clumsy and as I climbed the wall, I was suddenly reminded of this hindrance of mine. I’m holding on for dear life in that last picture. Why? Because I wanted to make sure that my clumsy behind didn’t fall.
Anyways, I have a rather short weekend because I head back out Sunday for another work trip. So I’m going to make the best of my Saturday to give me some semblance of a weekend.
