I’m doing another installment of picking one outfit or piece and styling it three different ways. I am all for having everything in my closet be as versatile as possible. What’s the point of buying it if I can’t wear it more than once? So, I’ve decided to do more installments of different ways to wear one outfit. Last time, I did this with a vintage African suit (here, here, or here) and the time before was a gray suit (here, here, or here). This time, I wanted to test out the versatility of a vest, especially as we transition to Fall/Winter from Summer.
The piece that will be the focus of this installment is a grey vest that I bought from…you guessed it… TJ Maxx. That place can do no wrong! The reason I was drawn to this vest was that it is grey- a neutral and major key to getting the most wear- and it has buttons to be worn as a dress!
For the first look, I decided to go more casual. This is a look I would typically wear on a casual day or running errands. It’s a simple look that allows you to get around quickly when running from place to place. The thing that I love about this vest is the versatility, easy to dress up or down. Also, it provides an extra layer as we move into the colder months.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
