Hey y’all!

I’m doing another installment of picking one outfit and styling it three different ways. I am all for having everything in my closet being versatile. What’s the point of buying it if I can’t wear it more than once? So, I’ve decided to do a monthly installment of different ways to wear one outfit. The last time I did this was with a gray suit that you can see here, here, or here. This time, I wanted to do an African outfit because I love the vintage look of these pieces as well as how each piece looks separately.

The first look is the top and bottom together. As stated earlier, I love the vintage look of this outfit. I really enjoy the oversized top that makes the entire outfit so comfortable. I also adore the length of this skirt! I can never say no to a good midi skirt! I think my most favorite part of this outfit is the intricate detail of the pink stitching on both the top and the skirt.

When I went to take these pictures, I felt like I was in a race against the clock because the heavy rain clouds were lurking and I thought the downpour was imminent. Guess what? The sun came out and all the clouds went away. They also say if you don’t like the weather, just give it a couple of minutes and it will change.

As you can see, I took the faux goddess locs out of my hair. As much as I enjoyed the much-needed break from my hair, I can say that I definitely missed it. I took out my twists before they got completely dry and I’m really loving the way my hair looks. While it won’t be out for too long, I will definitely be rocking this style as much as I can.

I hope your Monday goes well and you get a great start to the week!

As always, thanks for stopping by!
